L has over 1500 years of experience in the loyalty industry. We use data-led shopper insights to get under the skin of who our target audiences are. This, coupled with an understanding of our clients’ business, allows us to provide tactical loyalty solutions that no other in-store marketing campaign can – increasing visit frequency and basket size, and attracting new shoppers.

About your role as a Founder | Business Controller

Being a Founder is a mindset. As a Founder you are an entrepreneur; every day is different, and you will be working with a high degree of freedom and accountability. So, if you are pragmatic, enjoy connecting with others and are able to keep your eye on the ball, we would love to meet you.
You will form part of L’s Finance team, based in our main office in ’s-Hertogenbosch. You will be responsible for all finance operations of our EMEA sourcing business unit and our Entertainment business unit, operating from the Netherlands.

Responsibilities include
  • Owner of the general ledger.
  • Manage the cash (planning) cycle, which includes cash flow forecast and actual weekly payment review.
  • Manage the financial forecast and budget cycle for both business units.
  • Ensure a proper program forecasting and provide insights in the program performance.
  • Drive process improvements.
  • Manage a team of three finance professionals.
  • Grow to a business partner for other departments within L (e.g. supply chain and product management).
About the successful candidate

  • You have at least 10 years of working experience in financial or business control
  • You have experience with managing a team

  • You have the ability to acquire, structure and present data
  • You have strong analytical skills

  • You are an excellent verbal and written communicator in both Dutch and English
