About the role
As Regulatory & Compliance Manager, you play a key role in safeguarding L – founders of loyalty’s global product portfolio. You ensure that our products, materials and suppliers meet current and emerging regulatory requirements, helping us remain compliant, competitive and trusted worldwide.In this role, you translate complex legal and environmental legislation into clear, actionable guidance for our QA, Product Development and Sourcing teams. You help shape our compliance strategy from concept to market launch and collaborate closely with testing, inspection and certification partners.
Key responsibilities
- Regulatory Expertise & Monitoring: Act as the go-to expert for product compliance across key markets including the EU, Australia, Canada, Brazil and Taiwan. Track and interpret evolving legislation and maintain a clear, up-to-date Regulatory Radar.
- Legislation Translation: Translate frameworks such as GPSR, EPR, PPWR, DPP and CSDDD into concrete business implications for product teams and suppliers.
- Compliance Roadmapping: Build and maintain compliance roadmaps for the full product portfolio, defining actions, timelines and ownership.
- Policies & Documentation: Create and maintain internal policies, templates and documentation, including Declarations of Conformity, risk assessments and material declarations.
- Testing & Certification: Coordinate testing, inspections and certification activities with external laboratories and partners, ensuring audit readiness and structured follow-up.
- Training & Enablement: Deliver training, briefings and practical tools such as decision trees that embed compliance early in product development.
- Reporting & Strategy: Report on compliance KPIs and actively contribute to strengthening L’s overall Product Integrity & Compliance strategy.
What you bring
Required- 5+ years of experience in product compliance or regulatory affairs, preferred within an international non-food trading environment.
- Strong ability to interpret complex legislation and translate it into pragmatic, operational steps.
- Hands-on experience working with external labs, testing partners and certification bodies.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and project-management skills.
- Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Additional language skills such as German or French.
- Experience working in globally distributed, cross-functional product organisations.
