Senior Pricing Analyst
Senior Pricing Analyst I Founder
Location: Den Bosch, NL | Hybrid
About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join our Portfolio team. You will own the accuracy and integrity of pricing across global opportunities, turning complex suppliers, logistics, currency and market inputs into clear, commercially sound pricing guidance.
This is a stand-alone senior role with real ownership. You will be the pricing gatekeeper before numbers reach customers, while building a reference-pricing discipline that helps the business move faster, more consistently and profitably. You will partner closely with Sales, Business Development, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics and Finance, and you will need the confidence to challenge commercial assumptions when the numbers do not stack up.
Key responsibilities
- Own global pricing integrity: Build and validate end-to-end pricing calculations for existing-range deals, portfolio changes, custom developments and new brand launches, including product cost, packaging, royalties/licensing, freight, currency and margin targets;
- Protect margin and commercial accuracy: Act as the final pricing quality gate before figures go to customers, identifying errors, inconsistencies and assumptions that could erode margin or trust;
- Find and realize cost opportunities: Interrogate supplier/COGS, packaging, freight, royalty and other cost drivers, then work with Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Logistics and Finance to convert insights into savings and margin improvement;
- Anticipate market and currency exposure: Monitor commodities, FX, tariffs, supplier dynamics and market pricing; build scenarios and translate external shifts into forward-looking risks, opportunities and recommended actions for business owners and leadership;
- Build reference pricing at scale: Design, document and govern a standardized reference-pricing framework, library, templates and approval rules, embedding them into opportunity workflows so pricing is repeatable, auditable and fast across markets;
- Create visibility and hold the line: Maintain clear pricing reporting and dashboards, partner closely with Sales and Business Development, and constructively challenge commercially motivated stakeholders when pricing standards or assumptions are at risk.
What you bring
Required
- Hands-on experience building, significantly improving and running pricing models in a fast-moving, cost-complex environment;
- Strong supplier-pricing and cost-build-up expertise, including the mechanics of product cost, packaging, logistics/freight and margin;
- A firm grasp of how global commodity and currency movements affect cost, pricing and margin;
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with advanced Excel financial modelling and experience with Tableau or comparable BI tooling;
- A track record of creating and governing a repeatable process, not only operating within an established one;
- Excellent stakeholder management and the commercial confidence to challenge Sales and other senior stakeholders constructively;
- Full professional proficiency in English.
Preferred
- A background combining sourcing or procurement with commercial finance, pricing or FP&A;
- Experience in FMCG/CPG, grocery retail, promotional products/premiums, or a pricing-focused consulting environment;
- Experience with royalties or licensing-based pricing and multi-currency, multi-market commercial models;
- Familiarity with Power BI/Tableau, Salesforce, ERP systems and/or SQL;
- Practical experience using AI tools or building AI-enabled tasks and workflows;
- A second European language.
